BLITON For discussion and queries about Scottish place-names, visit the Scotplace discussion group |
The Society, launched in February 1996, exists for the support of all aspects of toponymic studies in Scotland, and in particular the work of the Scottish Place-Name Database at the University of St. Andrews and the University of Edinburgh. The Society circulates a
newsletter to members, "Scottish Place-Name News", at least once a year. N.B. The Society is now officially a charity - Scottish charity number SC033810. This means that members can make donations to us via the Charities Aid Foundation, and we can reclaim tax in addition. Subscribe now to |
